RM Lab @ Georgia Tech
- Worked under Prof. Gil Weinberg on the “Skywalker Hand” project, exploring novel sensing and actuation methods for dexterous prosthetic hands and exoskeletons that empower amputees and stroke survivors.
- Developed a multi-state identification machine learning algorithm that processed ultrasound images from either abdomen or calf muscles and could control an external exoskeleton hand finger-by-finger.
- Developed an integrated EMG and ultrasound system that could detect both hand gestures and force intensity simultaneously for optimal hand control.
Boeing @ Everett, WA
- GLIDE Team, developing the blade stringer forming process for the composite wings of the 777X
- Managed requirements for prototype cell determining verification procedures, collecting data for closure, and assisting with requirement definition for the production version of the GLIDE cell.
- Developed the concept of operations of the automated stringer production system. Integrated different functionalities by defining interface procedures of the affected systems inside and outside the GLIDE work and providing methods to increase throughput and efficiency.
- Assessed the maturity level needed to move from development to production readiness, by collecting data, analyzing pre & post data, and identifying where systems are not ready to meet production requirements.
- Developed Python model to receive input files with charge and tool geometries and
output tension/compression deltas as building ground for future iterations that will provide ideal stringer charge geometries to minimize compression forces during the forming process.
BioMEMS Lab @ University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez
- Develop and implement in-situ sensor to automatically monitor bacteria concentration on public waters under Dr. Pedro J. Resto
- Integrate pumps, heaters, light intensity monitoring, data transfer through 3G, bioassays, all with Arduino
