Hannah (Jiaying) received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin in May 2024. Her undergraduate research focused on studying the cation effects on the thermophysical properties of Tf2N ionic liquids for carbon capture. She was the member of the AlChE. During Summer 2023, she had an internship at the R&D department in Solvay.
Hannah joined the Meredith Group in Fall 2024. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Department co-advised by Dr. Grover, Dr. Shofner (MSE) and Dr. Meredith. Her graduate research focuses on developing a data-science workflow for natural polymers for sustainable packaging. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys listening to the music, going to the concerts, watching movies, and traveling.
