Javaz received his B.S in Chemical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology in 2018. He also received his M.S in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University in 2020. He joined the Meredith as a PhD student in 2021 in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Georgia Tech. Javaz is also co-advised by Dr. Nataile Stingelin.
His research focuses on investigating the adhesion and durability effects on the barrier properties of bio-based coatings for packaging applications. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and baking.
