Co-advised by Dr. Thomas Gartner, James explores the physical chemistry of polyolefin-cellulose interfaces through computational and experimental approaches. He graduated with his B.S in ChBE from National Taiwan University in 2018 and M.S in ChBE from the University of Pennsylvania in 2020. Before coming to Georgia Tech, he worked as a research scientist in Academia Sinica and a biomedical startup company under Dr. Jung-Chi Liao. In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies, reading books and playing sports like badminton or table tennis.
