Jonathan received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Howard University in May of 2022. He did undergraduate research working on TiO2 Nanoparticles in the Polymer Chemistry department at Howard. He was member of the Howard Chapters of AIChE, NSBE & Engineers without Borders. During 2021, he had an internship with Apple as a Materials Engineer in the Packaging Department.
He joined the Meredith Group in 2022 as a Masters Thesis student in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at Georgia Tech. His research focuses on work related to functionalized cellulose and biodegradable polyelectrolytes as oxygen and gas barriers for packaging applications.
In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys playing piano, gardening, producing/singing/songwriting and a variety of outdoor activities like axe throwing.
