About Us

MIDAS is a team of ten senior Georgia Tech students taking Spacecraft Design (AE 4342). We chose this group of people to be our team in the beginning of the Spring 2023 semester and have been working hard on our subsystems since then. We decided to make the 2023 AIAA competition our senior design project because of our collective passion for space exploration and curiosity and excitement about future manned Mars missions. We are all competitive and are extremely proud of our proposed solution, and we are confident that we can win the AIAA competition and help further NASA’s exploration of the Red Planet.
