The College of Computing M.S. Graduation Celebration will take place at 11 a.m., May 3 in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The ceremony will include students graduating with these degrees:

  • M.S. Computing
  • O.M.S. Computer Science (OMSCS)
  • M.S.Computational Science & Engineering
  • M.S. Cybersecurity – MSCSEC-C, MSCSEC-SCS, and MSCSEC-ECE
  • M.S. Human-Computer Interaction

Guest Ticket and StagePass Distribution

StagePasses

  • Graduates who submitted their RSVP by March 14, 2025 will receive a StagePass, which is required for stage access.
  • A StagePass is a QR code which will announce the graduate’s name as they walk across the stage.
  • StagePasses will be available in students’ Tassel accounts. We recommend taking a screen shot or printing a copy. 

Ticket Distribution

  • No tickets are required to attend the College of Computing Ceremony. 

Where to Enter

  • Families, please enter through Gate 1, 4, 5 or 10.
  • Families who need assistance with accessibility, please enter through Gate 1 or 4.
  • Please plan to arrive by by 10:30 am.

Speakers

Keynote Speaker: Katrina Montinola

Katrina Montinola is a distinguished Georgia Tech alumna and seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in Silicon Valley building high-performing technology teams and leading innovation in computer networking and artificial intelligence.

She began her career in the Valley as a software engineer at Oracle, where she later led the team that developed the first Oracle Internet Server.

Her expertise spans AI, healthcare analytics, product innovation, and managing globally distributed engineering organizations. Katrina currently serves as fractional CTO to three innovative startups—True Sage, EV2X, and LiVeritas Biosciences—and is Partner and AI Practice Lead at 2Go Advisory Group, where she helps organizations adopt AI in practical, impactful ways.

A former Chair of the Georgia Tech Advisory Board, she continues to serve on the College of Computing Advisory Board. In addition to her professional achievements, she is a board-certified director who serves on several non-profit boards, a mentor to emerging leaders, and a competitive equestrian.

Grace Driskill: Student Speaker

Grace Driskill is graduating from our Computational Science and Engineering program today. While at Georgia Tech, Grace excelled academically in her program, served as a graduate teaching assistant, and ran for Georgia Tech’s women’s track and field and cross-country teams, making her the first student-athlete in the School of Computational Design and Engineering.

In 2024, Grace received the Donald V. Jackson Fellowship, which is awarded to well-rounded first-year master’s students in the College of Computing in recognition of their academic excellence and leadership values. After graduating, Grace will be working at Sandia National Laboratories as a software engineer.

Patricia Allen: The National Anthem

Patricia Allen is a Director of Corporate Engagement within the Office of Corporate Engagement at Georgia Tech, and previously served as Senior Development Assistant and the interim Corporate Relations Manager in the College of Computing. 

She is currently a member of the Atlanta-based professional corporate choir, The SEEiT Choir. In fact, you can watch Patricia and The SEEiT Choir in Tyler Perry’s movie, A Madea Family Funeral,  and National Geographic’s 2021 TV movie Genius: Aretha.
