Challenge Cohort Orientation

Challenge is OMED: Educational Services’ signature six-week program for admitted first-year students.

Challenge Summer is an opportunity for students to adjust and familiarize themselves with all Georgia Tech has to offer through a rigorous and immersive holistic experience — not only experiencing GT academics, but professional development, corporate engagement, cultural exploration, social innovation projects; all while getting acclimated to campus with likeminded peers.

Challenge was by far one of the most impactful programs that I participated in at Georgia Tech. The program provided me with one of, if not the most important, key to success, community.

-4th Year, Electrical Engineering Student

Because of OMED’s Challenge program, I met some of my closest friends and earned a 4.0 GPA during my first semester at Tech. I am successful today because of OMED and its staff.
