In 1994, 30 years after the Civil Rights protests at the Pickrick restaurant, the Interdenominational Theological Center’s (ITC) newspaper, The Lantern, released an article titled ” ‘Pickrick’: Thirty Years Later” which gave readers a glimpse into the lives of Albert Dunn, Charles Wells, and George Willis in the preceding three decades. Author Lorene Bromfield interviews the three ministers about their memories of the Pickrick protests, the larger Civil Right movement, and their advice for current ITC students.
