Join us for micro-talks from presenters across Atlanta and the US Southeast as well as presenter-audience discussion on podcasting, its role in communication and communities, and its place in the classroom.

Early panels will cover topics podcasters need to know to start and sustain podcasting, as well as current discourse on orienting identity in the current podcasting community and beyond.

The final panel will focus on using podcasting in the classroom.

Attendance is open to the public.

Whether you are a seasoned podcasting educator or are just starting to explore the potential of podcasting to your communication or in your teaching, you will find valuable information and inspiration at our symposium.

The symposium will take place Saturday, March 4th at the Technology Square Research Building.

This will be a great a day of learning and networking with others who are passionate about using podcasting to enhance teaching, learning, and communication.

Who is this for?

This symposium is perfect for anyone interested in podcasting, be they students or members of the community who want to start a podcast or teachers looking for ways to innovate student communication.

What’ll it be like?

Presenters’ talks will be short. This symposium prioritizes communal creating of knowledge and information.

After presenters give their micro-talks, roundtables will situation the new information and open the floor for discourse with the audience.

While your participation is not required, we are encouraging audience members to be active contributors during discussion and Q&A.
