ATLANTA, GA — In a landmark move for student engagement the Public Policy Graduate Student Association (PPGSA), successfully organized and hosted the first-ever Graduate Town Hall Meetings for Georgia Tech’s School of Public Policy during the 2024–2025 academic year.

An initiative facilitated by PPGSA Vice President, Ryan Anthony, the town halls created an essential forum for public policy graduate students to engage directly with school leadership and elected representatives. These events offered students a transparent and inclusive space to share feedback, express concerns, and contribute ideas aimed at improving the graduate experience.

This initiative marked a significant step toward enhancing communication between students and administrators, establishing a precedent for future engagement efforts. “These town halls are about building a stronger community and ensuring that students have a voice in the decisions that shape their academic and professional journey,” Ryan Anthony stated.

By fostering dialogue and accountability, the town halls exemplified student-centered governance and demonstrated the impact of proactive leadership. The PPGSA commends Ryan Anthony for his vision and dedication in advancing student advocacy and promoting a more responsive and inclusive School of Public Policy.
