Welcome to Gt swim club
The nation’s premier (and most fun!) College Club Swimming team and the official club team of Georgia Tech.
3x CCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
The Club
Practices
The athletic core of GTSC. Our coaches create multiple time-groups for each practice, catering to a variety of skill levels. From summer-league novice to former D1 athlete, we have you covered!
We swim in reserved lanes at McAuley Aquatics Center, home of the ’96 Olympics.
Meets
We are part of College Club Swimming and typically attend 3-4 meets per semester plus National Championships in the spring. These meets are usually open to all members regardless of skill level. Meets are a fun way to compete against swimmers from around the world in incredible collegiate facilities.
Social
The social aspect of the club is just as important as the competitive. We host many inter-club events to foster connections within the club. We have a mentorship program for new members, senior celebratory banquets, field days, poster parties, and lots more. Our members are friends inside and out of the pool, and often room, attend sporting events, travel, etc. together.

History
The Georgia Tech Swim Club has proudly represented the Georgia Institute of Technology since the fall of 1995. First founded as a response to the lack of a women’s varsity team, the club quickly grew to include men as well. In the decades since, the Yellow Jackets have consistently pushed boundaries in the world of college club swimming. GTSC founded and hosted the East Coast Championships, the largest independently-operated meet in American swimming for much of its existence.
Georgia Tech Swim Club helped found College Club Swimming in 2017, which now operates as our national governing body. Georgia Tech, the premier team in CCS, won the first three national Collegiate Championships and placed 6th in the 2022 competition.
