What is Tableau?

Tableau can help anyone see and understand their data. It connects to almost any data source and lets you create and share interactive visualizations.

How do I get access to Tableau at GT?

For Viewing Reports…

Visit Georgia Tech’s curated reporting portal, LITE: Leading Insights Through Empowerment, to access existing reports.

For Students…

Get Tableau Desktop: Public Edition to develop reports and access to Tableau’s entire eLearning suite through the Tableau for Students program.

For Instructors & Academic Researchers…

Qualify for free licensing and materials through the Tableau for Teaching program.

For Staff & Faculty Administrators…

Request an onboarding consultation to become a Tableau Self-Service Tenant. Eligible departments receive a dedicated project space on the GT Enterprise Tableau Server for developing and sharing workbooks and access to centrally modeled enterprise data (pending data stewardship approvals).
