Legendrian Links and the Microlocal Theory of Sheaves

Welcome to the CBMS summer school web page. This is part of a biennial summer school at Georgia Tech, with each iteration focusing on a different area of modern topology.

This summer school will focus on Legendrian links and the microlocal theory of sheaves and run from June 9th through June 13th, 2025. The summer school will be centered around a mini-course given by

  • Roger Casals (University of California, Davis).

The mini-course will be supplemented by two lectures by 

  • Lenny Ng (Duke University),

two research talks by

  • Orsola Capovilla-Searle (University of California, Davis) and 
  • Wenyuan Li (USC),

two panel discussions during lunch about professional development topics led by

  • John Etnyre (Georgia Institute of Technology) and
  • Lisa Traynor (Bryn Mawr College), 

opportunities for participants to ask questions and work on problem sets, and a discussion of open problems.
