Our names are Nico Luciano, Brodie Grantham, Brandon Shoemaker, Will Augustine, and Kamran Khan.
We are first year students at Georgia Tech, studying Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, and Computer Science.
Nico is a mechanical engineering major that hopes to go into automotive engineering post graduation. He enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, and working out. His personal interest in the project is finding out how the government’s role in limiting information caused conflict between different parts of the government.
Will is an industrial engineering student from Dayton, Ohio. He loves sports, lifting weights, and spending time with friends. His interest in this archive is discovering the lost stories of the brave people who fought in World War II and understanding what they were experiencing on the front lines of the war.
Brodie is a business administration major from Canton, GA. He loves sports, hanging with friends, and spending time with his family. His personal interest in this project is exploring and understanding the first-hand accounts of soldiers who gave their lives for their country.
Brandon is a mechanical engineering major from Smyrna, Georgia. Some of his hobbies include going to the gym, playing golf, and hanging out with his friends. His interest in this project stems from his great-grandfather who served in WWII and he wanted to understand everything that he went through.
Kamran is a computer science major from Lawrenceville, Georgia. He enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and working out. His interest in this archive is wanting to find out how the censorship of the soldiers’ letters affected their personal relationships.
