Dr. Yang is an Assistant Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. She earned a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 and a Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in 2022 as an NDSEG Fellow. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, she was an Environmental Fellow at Harvard University (2022-2024). She has been recently recognized with the Google Research Scholar Award and the SCoRE Faculty Fellowship, the latter which seeks to develop community-engaged research collaborations across Atlanta and the Southeast.
Dr. Yang likes to run, play volleyball, and find new ways to lower her carbon footprint.
