Muliang Zhu

Muliang Zhu received his B.Sc. in applied physics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2014, and M.Sc. in electrical and computer engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017. He joined the Photonics Research Group at Georgia Tech as a PhD student in 2019. Muliang received a silver medal in 23rd Chinese Chemistry Olympiad in 2010.

Muliang’s research interest is nonlinear meta-optics. He works on functionality and AI-based design of nonlinear metasurfaces and metamaterials.
