In order to explore our archives, we started our research with set questions in mind. The questions we chose were designed to guide us towards the most relevant topics. Namely:

How has evolving technology affected the architectural design process and the effect on the finished products- does it make them safer?

Does this evolving technology take away from the art?

Can the people who live in these finished products trust the work of the software and architects whose hands they are putting their life in?

After exploring the existing literature, we saw that these questions motivated professors to write countless articles all over the world–from the United States (Lawrence, 1983) to Turkey (Kale and Arditi, 2005). We therefore chose to keep going forward with these questions and explore the existing literature.
