About the People

Jakob Knudsen

Jakob is a freshman at the Georgia Institute of Technology with a major in Mechanical Engineering. While his major is slightly different from the focus of our archival research, he was still interested in architecture from a young age. He is interested in learning more about changes in architecture because it will help him to become a well rounded engineer.

Filippos Kozakos

Filippos is a first year undergraduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in Mathematics. His father is a Civil Engineer and growing with him, Filippos has spent a lot of time viewing different architectural designs that his father used to create and store in the house. He is also interested in exploring the topic even further than this, since he strongly believes that these technologies will have a positive impact on the architectural designs of the future.

Ryan McConnell

Ryan is a first year mechanical engineering major at Georgia Tech. Ryan considered majoring in architecture but ultimately decided on mechanical engineering. However, he is still interested in learning about the discipline, and he believes that it’s important that other people do too.

Alessandro Ferrari

Alessandro is a first year Computer Science and Biology student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Growing up in Rome and later moving to New York, he has matured experiencing vast leaps in the architectural process in his daily life even at a young age. The project also aligns with his Computer Science interests, with new technology–especially new software–being the greatest driving factor in the evolution of the architectural design process in the last 50 years.
