Other excellent university-based resources related to climate change in Georgia include:

• • The Georgia Climate Project is a multi-university and multi-organization research consortium headquartered at Emory University.  It is dedicated to answering the questions: “What does a changing climate mean for Georgia?” and “What can we do about it?”
  • The Urban Climate Lab is a Georgia Tech research group investigates the relationship between climate change and the urban built environment.
  • The Climate and Energy Policy Lab is located in the Georgia Tech School of Public Policy.  It supports educational programs and conducts research related to a broad range of energy and climate issues with special expertise in economic and energy modeling.
  • The Georgia Initiative for Climate & Society encompasses a broad range of University of Georgia researchers who investigate climate change issues, build adaptive capacity, and develop tools to present climate information to stakeholders and the public.
