Myeongjun (MJay) Choi is a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is currently involved in projects aimed at developing robotic automation and manipulation systems for extreme environments such as nuclear power plants. Drawing on his experience as a Development Engineer at Tesla, he has contributed to a teleoperation system for robotic pipe maintenance in nuclear facilities, with an emphasis on mechanical design, testing, modeling tools, finite element analysis (FEA) simulations, and reinforcement learning. His research interests include robotics, manipulation, perception, and reinforcement learning.
