Timothy Snyder, Housum Professor of History at Yale University, spoke on “Ukraine: A War of Truth” on Friday, February 6 at Emory University. The talk was co-sponsored by Georgia Tech’s Jean Monnet Center of Excellence; the Dean of Emory College of Arts and Sciences; the Halle Institute for Global Learning; Tam Institute for Jewish Studies; Russian, the East European, and Eurasian Studies Program; the Department of Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures; and the Institute of Liberal Arts, Emory University. More than 100 people attended, including faculty from Emory (Political Science, History, Russian and East Asian Languages and Cultures); Georgia Tech (International Affairs; History, Technology and Society; Modern Languages); and Georgia State (Political Science) and undergraduate and graduate students from Emory and Georgia Tech.
