Overview

Welcome

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the Quad-AI ENGAGE Workshop on AI and Digital Agriculture, hosted by the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering in collaboration with AI Institute at Georgia Institute of Technology. This event is part of the Quad AI-ENGAGE initiative, which unites leading policymakers, industry experts, and researchers from the Quad member nations, United States, Japan, Australia, and India, to advance innovations in AI-driven agricultural research and technologies.

Agriculture today stands at a critical crossroads, facing challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, and the growing need for sustainable practices. Through the power of AI, we have a unique opportunity to tackle these challenges by enhancing precision, efficiency, and resilience in farming systems. This workshop is designed to strengthen multinational collaboration and foster innovation, with the shared goal of ensuring food security and sustainability for the future. Together, we will explore cutting-edge solutions, including AI-enabled crop analytics, non-destructive testing techniques, hyperspectral imaging, and volatile organic compound fingerprinting.

This workshop is more than just a gathering of ideas, it is a call to action. By bringing together our collective expertise and shared values, we aim to redefine agriculture and create a secure, equitable, and sustainable global food system. Your participation and insights will be pivotal in shaping the outcomes of this event and driving the next generation of agricultural advancements.

Join us for an inspiring program of international research exchanges, expert-led sessions, and valuable networking opportunities, as we explore AI’s transformative role in agriculture. On behalf of the organizing committee, we thank you for joining us on this collaborative journey and look forward to an inspiring and productive workshop.
