Shuai Nie received the Ph.D. degree of Electrical and Computer Engineering in May 2021 from Georgia Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ian F. Akyildiz. She has joined the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an assistant professor in August 2021. Her current research is focused on the 5G wireless communication systems and terahertz communication networks.

Shuai obtained her Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Xidian University in 2012 and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from New York University in 2014.
