Food, water, and energy are linked.
Reuse of wastewater has potential to reclaim nutrients and reduce demand for freshwater. There are also health and environmental concerns with the reuse of wastewater.
We are evaluating the use of wastewater to grow food, seeking ways to integrate energy, water and nutrients.
