How can I join AIChE?

1. You must be a member of the National AIChE organization (free for undergrads!). (http://www.aiche.org/membership)

2. Fill out the GT AIChE membership form (https://forms.gle/zgAqo7DppvTyNWtx7) with your National AIChE ID.

3. Venmo “GTAIChE” $15 as chapter dues for the AY 2024-25 and save a screenshot! You might need to show this screenshot at events to get in. If you are unable to venmo please bring cash. Dues are waived if you are a transfer student and it is your first year at GT.

What is Lunch and Learn?

Lunch and Learn (L&L) is a professional event that offers unique opportunity for students and professionals to interact with representatives from various industries and learn about their latest innovations, products, and practices.

So, join us and expand your knowledge, network with industry leaders, and gain valuable insights to help you advance your career!

How can I join the AIChE committee?

AIChE committee application opens during the start of the fall semester and closes around late August. Currently, application is closed. However, we really appreciate your interest in AIChE and please reapply next year!

How can I attend the Clearinghouse?

If you are already registered as a national AIChE and GT AIChE member, you are eligible to attend in the Clearinghouse! Bring your buzzcard to the check-in desk when signing in for the Clearinghouse.

What if I missed the deadline for AIChE committee application, but still want to be involved?

Yes! You can volunteer for many different types of AIChE events. Please reach out to aiche.gatech@gmail.com to express interest!

How can I check how many points I’ve earned from going to AIChE events?

The points are updated during mid-semester, and can be seen through the AIChE accouncement through Canvas. What is Clearinghouse?

The Clearinghouse is the annual chemical engineering career fair hosted by the Georgia Tech AIChE chapter. It is a great opportunity for students to network with representatives from top chemical companies and learn about internship and full-time opportunities.

How can my company be involved in it?

If you are interested in being part of the Clearinghouse companies, please send us an email to aiche.gatech@gmail.com about your interest!

Where should I ship my packages for events?

Please be sure that all materials are received at least one week before the event.

Where should I park for AIChE Events?

If you are going to a Lunch & Learn or another Event in Ford ES&T, you can do paid parking in the North Campus Parking Deck on 10th and State Street. Hannah Reynolds, the GT AIChE President, will be at the entrance of Ford ES&T at 10:45 AM to help you get to Ford ES&T Room L1255.

The yellow circle is the Fod ES&T building.

If you are going to Clearinghouse in Exhibition Hall, you can do paid parking in Area 2 Visitor parking (surface lot) or W02 Visitor parking (parking deck).

What events does GT AIChE have for companies to participate in?

We hold weekly Lunch and Learns with different companies, and hold Clearinghouse (Chemical Engineering Career Fair) annually. We also hold International Student Symposium for international students and companies willing to hire international students.
