My City Place
The My City Place project was a fun and interactive way to start the semester. Students were tasked with picking a place in Atlanta (or any city) and creating a video on why it was special to them. The open-ended assignment allowed students to exercise their creativity and make the project their own. It was neat to see what parts of town hold a special place in our fellow classmates’ hearts.
“My favorite thing we did in this class was the My City Place video. I really enjoyed getting to know the other students more by seeing their videos especially since class was all virtual. It also showed how personal the class was by allowing us to show the other students and teacher something from our past.” -Larkin Gillespie (4th year)
