Joseph obtained his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2018. During his time there he performed research testing the feasibility of alternatives to lithium-ion batteries. Joseph worked as an ORISE Fellow at CDC for two years where he monitored volatile organic compounds (VOC) in human blood using GC/MS. He began studying at Georgia Tech as a Ph.D. student in fall 2021. In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing guitar, swimming, and attending concerts.
