Funded trainee slots:

We have 3 funded trainee slots available for this year. The T32 program will offer selected students two years of stipend funding, including tuition waiver + payment of student fees. As is the case for NIH training grants, the PI/advisor will have to pay a nominal amount of stipend funds to compensate for the difference between NIH and GT rates.  The stipends of all T32 trainees will be covered starting from the beginning of the upcoming Fall 2022 semester, and will be funded for two years (upon successfully reappointment after first year of support).

Requirements and evaluation for trainee nominations:

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Candidate must be in one of the seven participating PhD programs (QBioS, BME, BIOE, ML, CSE, Biology, or Physics) .
  • Candidates should be starting their 2rd year in the coming Fall semester (i.e., Fall 2022).

To expand the impact of InQuBATE, we have created a new designation of InQuBATE Affiliated Research Scholars, and have 3 slots available for this year.
