Thank you so much for your interest in our lab! We are always looking for highly motivated and talented Ph.D. students, master’s students, and undergraduate students to join us or collaborate with us.

Research Topics (include but not limited to)

  • Physics-informed robot learning (dynamics learning, RL, IL)
  • Multi-robot active simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM)
  • Multi-modal 3D scene understanding, foundation models for 3D perception

Desired Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and strongly passionate about the above research topics
  • Solid mathematical background and knowledge in ML/DL, statistics, optimization and control
  • Proficiency in coding and programming (e.g., C/C++, Python, ROS)
  • Experience in real robotic platforms (e.g., drones, ground vehicles, legged robots, manipulators)

I admit graduate students through the AE Ph.D. Program and Robotics Ph.D. Program (AE as the home department is preferred but not required). Please apply to the program that best matches your interests and note your interest in working with me in your application.

If you are a current GT master’s and undergraduate student and interested in working with us, please check out our current research projects and read the recent related publications. Please send the corresponding project leader an email with the subject heading “Current MS/Undergrad Student”, include your CV/transcript, research experience and interests, what specific research topic you want to work on, whether or not you will need funding, and other materials you want to share in the email. Our lab currently does not have funded open positions for postdoctoral researchers. However, you are encouraged to apply for external fellowship funding to support your postdoctoral research in our lab.
