Peking University Summer Study Program
Summer Program for BME Students from Peking University
Every year senior BME students from Peking University come to Wallace H. Coulter Biomedical Engineering department. During their time at Georgia Tech they work in a research lab as well as in the Instructional Labs. In the Instructional Labs, the students perform hands-on experimentation in engineering physiology using human cell culture systems. The students perform studies such as anticancer drug screening, signaling pathway analysis using techniques such as flow cytometry and Western blotting. They also learn various cutting edge techniques and technologies including molecular strategies for intervention of cancer pathophysiology.
