ATL@GT Meeting in Montreal June 10-11, 2025

The next meeting of ATL@GT is open for members only and will be held at the AC Marriott Montreal Downtown Hotel from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM on June 10 and 8:30 AM to 11 AM on June 11. A light breakfast will be served at 8:30 AM and the meeting will start at 9:00 AM each day. Tuesday evening we will have a networking event that includes a dinner cruise. Airbus has also arranged a tour of their factory in Mirabel for us on Wednesday afternoon. Please RSVP here to let us know if you are coming in person or want to attend virtually. Note that due to the fact the Canadian F1 Grand Prix starts shortly after our meeting, we strongly encourage you to make your travel arrangements (particularly hotel booking) early.

Video links to the conference will be sent out just prior to the meeting.

Meeting location:

AC Marriott Montreal Downtown
250 René-Lévesque Ouest
Montréal, QC H2Z1Z8

Antonio Catalàn Room

Networking activity the evening of Tuesday, June 10th:

Tuesday, June 10th 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM. Please join us for a dinner cruise on the Bateau-Mouche.

Boarding time and location: 6:30 PM at the Old Port of Montréal

Departing time: 7:00 PM (we do not have exclusive use of the ship, so you must be on time to go!) Also note that dinner will be provided with cash bar (i.e., you will need to pay for your own drinks).

Networking activity the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11th:

Airbus has offered to host a tour their facility in Mirabel where they manufacture the front and aft fuselage sections for the A220 programs on Wednesday afternoon. Note the factory is a 45 minute drive from Montreal, so we will plan to board a bus at 10:45 AM and leave the AC Marriott hotel promptly at 11 AM, take boxed lunches with us, and tour the facility from 12-2 PM before dropping individuals off directly back at the airport (first stop) between 2:30-2:45 PM and hotel between 3:00-3:30 PM. We will need to confirm legal names of those attending the tour three weeks in advance, i.e., no later than May 28, 2025. Note that no social media posting of the tour is permitted without prior clearance from Airbus’ media relations group and that a photo ID will be required to enter the Airbus facility.

Hotels:

No hotel block has been reserved for the meeting but we strongly encourage you to make travel plans early as there are many events, including the Canadian F1 Grand Prix that starts shortly after our meeting that may lead to increases in hotel rates.
