Tulio Sulbaran is a PhD student in Civil Engineering in the Transportation Systems Engineering group working with Dr. Laurie Garrow. Tulio completed his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Tulio was very active at UT through his leadership in ASCE and UT Senate, being peer tutor for Properties and Behaviors of Materials, and conducted undergraduate research. In his research, Tulio used statistical modeling and machine learning to analyze large data sets. Apart from engineering, Tulio loves to travel, enjoys the outdoors, and getting to meet new people.
