Air Canada

Canada’s largest airline, Air Canada is headquartered in the borough of Saint-Laurent outside Montreal. In 2017, the Revenue Management Science and Innovations Department initiated an internship program for undergraduate and graduate students that now supports between four and 12 interns a year. Interns typically work for four to six months on topics that are related to recent events and gain valuable experience working with large-scale proprietary airline datasets. Interns perform a variety of analytical tasks (such as generating reports or conducting a statistical analysis) that support larger projects. Air Canada places a priority on ensuring that interns are exposed to projects from multiple departments and learn about potential career paths within the organization.

The majority of internships are currently targeted for Canadian citizens or Canadian permanent residents, but Air Canada is looking to further expand its internship program.
