Dr. Laurie Garrow, Executive Director for ATL@GT, is pleased to announce that the ATL@GT Consortium membership has expanded to include a new member – and one representing a new geographic area for the group. Garrow notes “I am excited that Emirates has joined ATL@GT, and it has been a pleasure working with Angela Lombardi, Duminda Dahanayake, and Onar Taner to help design a simulation network for the Consortium research portfolio that will better reflect the unique market conditions in the Middle East. I know the students have learned a lot already about how the Middle East air transportation markets are distinct from the US-based markets, and they are looking forward to Emirates hosting a meeting for the Consortium in Dubai this fall.”
