We are pleased to announce that Maitreyee Talnikar will be joining Alaska Airlines following her graduation this May with a MS in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Tech.
A graduate of ATL@GT, Maitreyee’s research focused on applying machine learning and data science techniques to challenges in airline revenue management and transportation systems. During her time in the lab, she developed predictive models for fare-adjustment strategies and worked to improve forecasting accuracy using large data sets and advanced analytical methods.
Maitreyee was also recognized as a 2024 Ken Wang Scholar, a distinction that highlights her contributions to airline operations research.
At Alaska Airlines, she will apply her analytical expertise to enhance the carrier’s pricing, forecasting, and network planning capabilities, bridging academic innovation with real-world airline operations.
