And we’re back!! We hope you had a restful and fulfilling summer. It’s hard to believe we’re in August already — and I’m sure many of you find it hard to believe as well.
Fun fact: if you walk into a college admission office in any part of the country right now, you would find calendars, spreadsheets, reports, and an inbox full of invitations to college fairs. You’d also see a dedicated admission counselor trying to fit all these pieces into the perfect fall visit schedule because they want to meet you!
Many college fairs occur in the fall, and we want to help you prepare. As you get settled into fall semester, let us help remove some stress by giving you a little insight into how you can make the most of your college fair experience. This week we’re throwing back to part one of our two-part series from last year on navigating college fairs.
A View from the Trashcan: Navigating College Fairs, Part 1
Is this your first time attending a college fair? Unsure of what to expect, or how to prepare? Then part one of this series is for you!
A View from the Trashcan: Navigating College Fairs, Part 2
Have you already taken a walk through a college fair, or talked with a college rep? Are you curious how you can make your questions more meaningful (in other words, how can you get the info that’s most important to you)? Learn what you should be asking, and the questions you can skip, by checking out the second part of the series!
Oh, and before we forget to say it… Welcome back to school! We hope you have a great start, and look forward to (hopefully) meeting you this fall!
