We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Garrow has been honored with the 2023 Georgia Tech CIOS Award! Every year, Georgia Tech presents this award to no more than 50 professors that earned exceptionally high assessments from the CIOS. Award winners are presented with a $1000 stipend.
Dr. Garrow’s achievement is particularly impressive as it stems from the high assessment scores provided by her students, reflecting their appreciation for her teaching methods, depth of knowledge, and ability to inspire intellectual curiosity within Airline Revenue Management. CIOS is recognized as a dependable means of obtaining the most genuine feedback regarding professors’ teaching effectiveness. Winners were chosen based on their respect for students, ability to stimulate interest, and level of enthusiasm in teaching the subject matter. Notably, Dr. Garrow is one of only 13 professors within the College of Engineering to be honored with this award, which is a testament to her unwavering commitment to enriching the educational experience of her students and fostering a dynamic learning environment.
