ATL@GT welcomes its first PhD students!

ATL@GT welcomes its first PhD students in August 2023. Gabriel Cedraz Diniz and Tulio Sulbaran are new Yellow Jackets who come with complimenting backgrounds that will be a great addition to the lab supporting upcoming research.

Gabriel Diniz has a BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Economics from his home country Brazil and has worked four years as a Supply Chain consultant at EY and Accenture. Tulio Sulbaran has a BS in Civil Engineering from UT Austin and held several leadership positions in ASCE and UT Senate in addition to being peer tutor and conducting undergraduate research.

“I am excited to continue my education at Georgia Tech working with highly qualified faculty and a supportive environment to fulfill my ultimate goal of becoming a professor. I am thrilled to start the program in the fall,” said Tulio.

“I am looking forward to getting back to school and developing my skills in the field of aviation – a passion of mine. I can’t wait to dive into the research and create value to the air transport industry along my lab mates”, added Gabriel.

Welcome Tulio and Gabriel!
