Mentoring Programs

ABLE Alliance is looking to host two different types of mentoring programs, one for professional mentoring and the other for social and/or new Georgia Tech community mentoring.   If you are looking to be a mentee or mentor, please see our Contact Us page and let us know.  We will be setting up a more formal system soon, so please re-visit this page in the near future.

Professional & Career Mentoring:  ABLE Alliance is working on pairing mentors and mentees for professional mentoring and career development.  Mentoring could include student-faculty/staff pairs, faculty/staff-faculty/staff pairs, and students-industry contact pairs.  If you are interested in being mentored or being a mentee, please email us using the information on our Contact Us page.

Peer Support Mentoring: We want all students, faculty, and staff to be supported by their peers.  ABLE Alliance will be starting a peer mentoring program for student-student pairs or faculty/staff-faculty/staff pairs.  More senior Georgia Tech community members (as in how long a person has been at Georgia Tech) will be paired with members who are newer but of the same peer group.   ABLE  believes this is particularly important for incoming students or new faculty/staff to become fully integrated into the community and “learn the ropes”.  If you are interested in being mentored or being a mentee, please email us using the information on our Contact Us page.
