Tapping

About Tapping

The “Self-regulation Tapping” that has matured on this Georgia Tech campus is an easy to learn, simple to practice, sensory based stress management protocol. As specific spots and nerve endings on our face and body are stimulated with Tapping, the stress response in the brain calms down, leading to a cascade of shift in the nervous system and body chemistry, generally allowing the whole body to gently shift into a better balanced state.  Recent studies of Evidence Based Clinical EFT Tapping shows a 43% drop in cortisol after one hour of group Tapping as one example.  As a mind-body or body-mind tool, Tapping works especially well for those who enjoy exploring how stress shows up in the body as a physical sensation.  It can also be a great introductory tool into meditation for those who want to meditate, but are struggling due to various factors.
