Just in time for the season of love, RHA is bringing two events to campus: RA Appreciation and Love Talk & Chalk! This week and next, spread the love, express your love, and learn how to love healthily.
RA Appreciation 💛
For Residents: In celebration of National RA Appreciation Day, RHA is collecting kind messages of thankfulness and appreciation for RAs. Between Wednesday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 16 at 5:00pm, write a letter to any of our 200+ RAs on campus! We’ll then print your messages onto cards and deliver them to RAs, along with custom royal icing sugar cookies designed just for RAs.
For RAs: You’ll receive an email from us next week with information on how to pick up an envelope addressed to you from your Area Offices—it’ll contain all messages that you received, along with a custom royal icing sugar cookie.
Love Talk & Chalk 😍
Come find us around campus on Valentine’s Day (Monday, February 14) to answer trivia questions about sexual health and healthy relationships; win prizes like stuffed animals, cupcakes, chocolates, and roses; write Valentine’s day cards to your friends or special somebodies; learn more about our RA Appreciation initiative; and chalk to your heart’s content—whether it be drawings of things that make you feel loved, what you love about Georgia Tech, positive affirmations, or anything else that makes your heart soar!
- 10:30 – 11:30am: East Campus, outside Brittain
- 2:30 – 3:30pm: Central Campus, on Tech Walkway
- 6:00 – 7:00pm: West Campus, outside West Village (in Folk-Caldwell courtyard)
While you’re enjoying music, snacks, trivia, and good vibes, be sure to also pick up one of our sticker sheets! We also plan to have lubricant, dental dams, condoms, and other sexual wellness products available for pick-up.
